Anne Stradal has painted and stitched a penguin in honor of Cinco de Mayo, which we take very seriously in my part of town. (Austin) Independence of Mexico from France. She has just finished this one, and as always, her simplicity in choices of stitches and the great combinations of thread textures, work together to create a charming ornament.
